About This Cause
We are CCEF (Canandian Campus Evangelical Fellowship), we are campus missionaries who are dedicated to spreading the name of Jesus and sharing the love of Christ. We are determined to "walk with Christ and walk with classmates"; accompanying students on campuses in Canada, exploring the true way of life, growing together in academics, life, and spirituality, and living a prosperous life. We, as campus missionaries, are dedicated to proclaim the name of Jesus and to share his love. We resolve to “Follow the steps of Christ and Walk with students”. Together with the students on Canadian campuses, we explore the path to truth; grow in study, in life, and in spirituality; aiming to live out an abundant life. Our Ministry Principles: - Focusing on Canadian Mandarin students and scholars - To serve Mandarin-speaking students in Canada - Take spiritual life, life, and service as the spiritual principle - To serve with spiritual exemplary life, exemplary life, and ministry integrity Our Ministry Strategies : - Mobilizing the MassesMobilizing God's People - Thread the Needle Building Ministry Networks - Practice Engaging the Front Line Our Ministry Goals: - Cradle for Co-workers to Grow - Channel to Bless the Students - Bridge between Church and Campus Our Ministries Activities include but not limited to: - Build Teams with Churches - Assist in the operation, planning and implementation of Plan, Coordinate, Operate - Win Souls with Gospel - Discipleship and Prayers - Accompanying Bible Study & Daily Caring We have hosted the following Retreats and Workshops: - Pre-Gospel meetings, evangelistic meetings, seminars, etc. - One-day workshop series - Training seminars or camps, such as: student spiritual investigation management, youth wandering camp, spiritual life shaping - Bible Camps, Gospel Camps, Spiritual Formation Camps Historical Roots of CCEF: 1. The history of the fellowship can be traced back to the “campus fellowship” in the mainland at the beginning of the last century. The root of CCEF may be traced back to Campus Fellowships in Mainland China in the Early 20th Century 2. 1950's missionaries evacuated from mainland China and started student work in Taiwan. Missionaries left Mainland China. Campus Ministries started in Taiwan 3. 1957 Taiwan Campus Gospel Fellowship was established in Taipei to carry out student and literary ministry. Formation of Taiwan Campus Evangelical Fellowship 4. In 1960's God raised up Chinese Bible study classes in America. A group of brothers and sisters who had received campus ministry training in Taiwan and North America gradually became the co-workers and shepherds of overseas Chinese churches. Bible Study groups flourished on American campuses, preparing leaders for Chinese churches in North-America 5. In November 1992, "Overseas Campus" magazine, which preached the gospel to Chinese scholars, was launched in the United States. “Overseas Magazine” was first published to evangelize students and scholars from Mainland China 6. 1998 Canadian Campus Gospel Fellowship was established in Toronto.
