About This Cause
The VCC benefits 30-40 lower mainland children. After a trial period for each chorister, they meet weekly for teaching and rehearsals, under the guidance of our Artistic Director. Fostering an appreciation and understanding of music and performance, by using the voice as an instrument of artistic self-expression, the children develop confidence, respect, and esprit de corps. This is then shared with the wider community, through a wide range of public performances. Participating in VCC is one of the best musical and community and development experiences a child / youth could have in our city.
