About This Cause
In 2000 a group of like-minded people incorporated the Society of Alumni and Friends of Crescent Heights High School as a charitable organization. The original intent of our Society was to provide financial assistance for needy students to participate in extra-curricular activities. As the Society grew several other programs have been added. The following are the current ongoing programs: 1. Present annual scholarships to graduating students of Crescent Heights High School, Calgary, AB to assist them in pursuing post secondary education 2. Provide funds for students and programs (supplies & equipment) of Crescent Heights High School, Calgary, AB 3. Organize reunions and gatherings of students (past & present) of Crescent Heights High School 4. Provide a reunion loan for organizers of reunions & gatherings of Crescent Heights High School past graduating classes 5. Provide support & funds for an archive of historical documents and items of Crescent Heights High School
