Mission Statement
The mission of the EDMONTON Youth & Children’s Choirs is to prepare singers for performances of the highest standard, explore and expand their knowledge of the repertoire, introduce our audiences to the beauty and power of this music and to develop strong characters with insight, cultural awareness, respect and self-discipline. We achieve these goals through regular rehearsals and performances, recordings, participation in workshops and festivals and by touring locally and abroad.

We are a family of choirs for choristers from ages 6-24, who love to explore music in many different styles, forms and places, including rehearsals, performances, tours, workshops, retreats, singing with other choirs, and in our communities. EYCC has a strong focus on choral excellence with many prizes and awards for performances in Alberta, Canada and around the world. In addition to music, we have a strong focus on community. We value and encourage inclusivity, creating a safe space for everyone, making life-long friendships, and building positive associations with the greater community.
