Mission Statement
The Little Angels Blood Cancer Fund is a registered charity that provides financial support to patients undergoing treatment for blood cancer or a stem cell transplant at the Ottawa Hospital. We help patients experiencing financial difficulty by funding non-medical expenses such as parking, travel, accommodation, childcare and food.
About This Cause
How Little Angels helps patients • Support is available for qualified patients undergoing treatment at the Ottawa Hospital. • Your social worker associated with the Ottawa Hospital’s blood cancer treatment program can help you determine if you qualify. • Support can be used to assist the patient directly or another person supporting the patient during treatment or recovery • Support is for non-medical costs only. Why you should consider supporting Little Angels • We have been helping patients from eastern Ontario for 20 years. • Over that period we have helped hundreds patients • The number of patients we support annually has been growing steadily. • Our support has grown beyond blood cancer patients to include patients undergoing stem cell treatment for other illnesses such has Multiple Sclerosis and several other autoimmune disorders.
