Mission Statement

Pacekids Society for Children with Special Needs is a registered, non-profit, charitable organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors that consists of parents of Pacekids’ children, as well as other community members. Founded in 1994, Pacekids holds a Private ECS Operator License from Alberta Education, and offers a Family Support Program for infants through funding from Family Services for Children with Disabilities. Pacekids continuously emphasizes the importance of the special needs child and the family unit.

About This Cause

Pacekids Programs is family-focused and strives for excellence in the therapy, education and family empowerment of children with special needs. Pacekids is a dynamic, active environment, specializing in family-centred, therapeutic learning objectives that nurture each child’s unique developmental and physical needs through a variety of programs. Pacekids services children from four months of age right through to school aged, through a comprehensive offering of programs and services including Stepping Stones Triple P, Infant & Family Support, Early Childhood Services, Developmental/Behavioural Aide Services and Specialized Services which are executed in-home, in-community, and in-classroom settings.
