Mission Statement

Founded in Nairobi, Kenya in 1991 the Society distributes portable libraries of African books in the form of "book boxes" to African schools.

About This Cause

The African Children's Book Box Society supports a diversity of educational initiatives by providing culturally relevant books and furthering innovative educational practices within vulnerable communities. The goal is to provide African children with their own stories, literature and curriculum books.
