About This Cause
We are a non profit registered charity that helps people ( in our community) who are having trouble meeting the survival needs of their family. Food ,Shelter , Heat. The working poor, the unemployed, the seniors on fixed incomes. We do this by supplementing their food supply on a monthly basis. In 2022 our number of clients has increased by approx 40%, now serving an average of 245 people each of the last 3 months. . This is a cause for concern. We are operated totally by volunteers and receive all our funds from people and businesses in our community. We pass out school supplies and winter jackets that are donated to us. Last year we used some of our funds to buy extra school supplies At Christmas we provide food for approximately 168 families. All families with children receive gifts and we try to provide a small gift for all adult clients as well.
