Mission Statement

YouthCO's mission is to reduce the impact of HIV and Hep C stigma on youth in what is now commonly called British Columbia.

About This Cause

YouthCO has a long history of supporting youth who are navigating HIV and HCV, whether their personal status is positive, negative, or unknown. Our organizational values and approaches include sex-positivity, harm reduction, community engagement, and innovation, and these are reflected in the solution we have proposed here. Since 1994, YouthCO has offered peer education and peer support programming to youth living with HIV, and for the last 15 years, we have offered these services to youth living with HCV as well.
