Mission Statement
The St. John’s SPCA is an adoptions-focused agency helping homeless cats and dogs find happy beginnings. We work with communities on the Avalon Peninsula to promote responsible pet ownership, and encourage and assist in spaying and neutering.
About This Cause
The mission of the SPCA is to relieve the suffering of animals by educating people to treat animals with the love and respect they deserve. Consequently, we promote responsible pet ownership through education and encouraging spaying and neutering. 97% of our funds comes from fundraising efforts – including donations. The kindness of our community of supporters enables the SPCA St. John’s to care for animals and find them new homes.
