Mission Statement
The Centre aims to provide a stimulating learning environment which recognizes that children are at various stages of development and each child is an individual, with different interests, strengths and levels of development. We believe that children learn best in a warm, caring atmosphere. In order to accomplish our objectives, the children are provided with meaningful learning experiences and social activities.
About This Cause
Lindenwoods Child Care Centre Inc. provides quality child care to children ages 12 weeks to 12 years. We have an infant room for eight children under two years, a preschool program for 32 children under five years and a school age program for 44 children under 12 years. Our curriculum is play based. All activities and invitations are based on the children's interests. Our work is guided by our values: Inclusion, Play, Relationships, Love and Respect. We believe in adventurous play in which the children can hone their critical thinking and problem solving skills. We believe that outdoor play is vital to our children's development. Our children are developing a love of nature, and a respect for their environment.
