Mission Statement
Our mission is to find lifelong, loving homes for unwanted and abandoned Dobermans by: 1. maintaining a group of like-minded persons as a registered non-profit organization 2. raising funds and developing contacts with other organizations to rescue/transport/rehome Dobermans from overpopulated areas in the US to homes in Canada 3. assisting members in Canada to find and adopt a Doberman 4. providing public education about our breed
About This Cause
Welcome to Doberman Rescue Foundation Canada We are happy to see you! DRFC is about rescuing Dobermans by bringing them out of areas in the US, where there is an abundance of unwanted Dobermans, to loving homes in Canada with people wanting to adopt a Doberman. We are a registered, non-profit society. If you care about the breed and want to help then please buy a membership or make a donation. If you are looking for a Dobie fill out an adoption application - if you can give a temporary home to a dog until it is adopted please fill out a foster application. Fosters are the backbone of a rescue. Nothing happens without their help. If you can help with transporting dogs for short distances let us know the area you are willing to cover.
