Mission Statement
We care about the animal welfare of small rodents raised by humans, rescue small rodents that have been improperly treated or abused, and provide them with proper medical care, shelter, placement, and delivery.
About This Cause
We set up a rodent shelter in Taipei, Taiwan, to rescue and shelter rodents from all over Taiwan that have been mistreated, tortured, and abandoned, such as Syrian hamsters, Gakaria hamsters, dormouses, guinea pigs, etc. . And provide them with medical resources and find a suitable new home for them. Rodentscare promotes and educates the correct knowledge about raising rodents throughout Taiwan. We rescue more than 1000 rodent pets such as hamsters, guinea pigs, rats and mice every year. Due to the imperfect legislation on animal protection in Taiwan, there is little protection for animals other than dogs. Therefore, we are also actively participating in and promoting the legislation of policies related to animal protection.
