Mission Statement
家扶基金會是一個關懷弱勢兒童少年及其家庭的國際性非營利組織，運用社會工作的專業方法，讓兒少享有家庭妥善的照顧、身心安全的保護、健康成長的環境、充分受教育的機會，快樂學習的生活，期待兒少自立後能夠帶著大家的愛展翅飛翔。 Taiwan Fund for Children and Families (abbreviated as TFCF) is a non-government organization devoted to improving the well-being of vulnerable children and their families through comprehensive services and assistance. From the financial support through foreign donors in the very early beginning, we are now a self-independent organization whose mission and vision still focus on needy children's benefits. We aim at promoting and advocating for the well-being of children, youth, and underprivileged families. We hope to be the beacon of hope to assist those needy children and their families regardless of the religion, ethnics or gender.
About This Cause
TFCF is a non-profit organization in Taiwan that provides services to vulnerable children and families. "Livelihood Supports" and "Child Protection" are its two main target programs. Regardless race, religion and gender, TFCF was founded in 1950 with a helping hand from Christian Children’s Fund, a NGO from Virginia, U.S.A. We went independent during year 1985. Now, we have 24 domestic branch offices, 1 Ta-Tung Children's Home, 8 placement institutions, 1 Child and Youth Welfare Center, 3 Nonprofit Kindergartens. We also collaborate with ChildFund International USA, Children Believe, ChildFund Australia and PlanBørnefonden to provide children sponsorship program to help over 60,000 needy children in 34 countries, including our 7 overseas branch offices in Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan, Eswatini, Vietnam, Cambodia, Jordan and Philippines.
