About This Cause
netzpolitik.org is a medium for digital rights. We address important issues relating digital society and politics and show ways in which you can use the internet to help promote digital freedom and openness. With netzpolitik.org we describe how politics changes the internet through regulation and how the net changes politics, the public and everything else. We critically accompany all areas of society in the processes of digitization: from large data corporations and security authorities to education, media and the environment. We want to put technological change at the service of freedom, solidarity and the common good. We see ourselves as a journalistic offer, but we are not neutral. Our stance is: We are committed to digital freedom rights and their political implementation. We have received several awards for our work.
