About This Cause
Brainpower Development Centre LBG provides underprivileged children in Takoradi, Ghana, with access to education and healthcare by sending them to school and supporting them in pursuing a career that enables them to make a good living. We provide academic support and access to resources that they would otherwise be denied. We conduct prevention campaigns on the real dangers of drugs and organize health debates with experts in the field to speak the truth about the use of AOD abuse. We also provide entrepreneurship skills training to young people in Ghana. Our services develop the potential of marginalized students. Since its inception in 2013, we have empowered over 125 students as drug educators, and more than 3,500 young people have benefited from effective drug education and addressed issues affecting their health and well-being. We have also sponsored 27 local Ghanaian children for education in private schools. Your support will enable us to create a brighter future for these children, unlocking their full potential and helping them thrive in all aspects of life.
