Mission Statement
Our goal is to develop activist communication for social change through non-violent communication, sustainable activism, cooperation with other civic organizations, compilation of application materials, dissemination of intersectional feminist thinking with the integration of transgender people and their aspirations, help the understanding of gender and gender identity. dissemination of awareness on discrimination, bullying and forms of violence, awareness raising as part of prevention and treatment, community and mental health support, community development and skills development, facilitation of self-supportive workshops for LGBTQIA + people in need, online communication platform (magazine, blog) , a community forum, support for young bloggers and authors.
About This Cause
Our organisation's name is a Hungarian pun. The word "szabadnem" has two meanings in Hungarian: you can always say no for anything and you are free to live your gender identity. "Szabad" means being free, "nem" means no and gender in the same time. We are a small group of intersectional feminist independent authors writing and working for social changes and for equality, against hate speech and social gaps between social groups.
