Mission Statement

Jeevan Stambh foundation is a Delhi-based organisation working in the field of health, education, skill development, and environment. JSF has previously worked in healthcare over the past few years. We started as a volunteer collective during the migrant crisis in 2020, helping 6000+ migrants reach home safely and continued helping them and others facing covid led crisis. During the second wave of covid-19, JSF supported economically weaker section in battling with the unprecedented crisis with medical support. Starting with a Covid Care Centre (CCC), JSF set up a 25 bedded fully equipped facility during the 2nd wave of COVID-19. Additionally, JSF also established a COVID Support Centre to support economically weak families by providing them with treatment, ration, medical aid, and other immediate resources for free in rural areas.

About This Cause

THE MAIN OBJECTS OF THE COMPANY TO BE PURSUED BY THE COMPANY ARE: A. Mobilizing Civil society for adequate, timely, appropriate response to various challenges and problems of society. a. To bring a strong base for volunteer support by civil society engagement, organizing resources to support an effective response b. Identify and initiate ability to allow support for any cause from anywhere by any and everyone B. To promote community development including, not limited to, healthcare, education, sanitation and skill development C. To work for the welfare, development and promotion of positive developments in the areas of, not limited to: i. Child development – Nutrition, education, shelter homes, skill and employability training, labour and exploitation protection, and provide medical, social and emotional support. To provide aid, in cash or in kind, to educate and train the physically handicapped children, spastics, orphans and children belonging to weaker sections of the society with a view to enable them to attain employment and self-sufficiency. ii. Disaster Relief – Provide relief and rehabilitation support to people affected by natural causes or (defined: “Act of God”) man-responsible disasters. iii. Disabilities – To support people with disability and disfiguration and provide rehabilitation in the civil society. iv. Environment – Nature education for urban and rural populations, environmental awareness and adoption of good practices, restoration of habitat, creating nature friendly communities, promoting biocentrism. To undertake all programmes for ensuring social accountability in conservation, preservation and control to the environment, forest and wildlife. v. Education – To set up educational institutes for sound educations on all educational levels, across all recognized boards in all the disciplines to create skilled and complete individuals. vi. Education - To establish, develop, maintain schools, colleges, libraries, universities, laboratories, English spoken centres, skill development centres, competition, preparation centres, yoga and spiritual centres, sports training centres, vocational training centres, research and other institutions for the development and advancement of education and diffusion of knowledge among the public in general. vii. Education - To organize program for the promotions of pre-primary education, non-formal education, computer & information technologies, leadership development, techno-entrepreneurship development educational, infrastructure research and development, socio-scientific research. And give franchise in block level and assist them with books and teachers. viii. Education - To promote education, training and research programs in Rural Management and generate a Human Resource Force to settle the needs of people in rural areas. ix. Public Health – To help establish dispensaries, hospitals, maternity homes, welfare centers, pharmacies, and other institutes and promote programmes by government or government recognized NGOs and social institutes on healthcare and safety. To give aid in the form of money, medicine, clothes, equipment, etc. to charitable hospitals and blind schools, and to provide financial assistance to individuals requiring medical treatment, to promote medical research, particularly research related to treatment and cure of cancer and to institute fellowship, scholarship, awards, etc. for excellence in medical research.x. Public Health – To undertake, help establish, assist, organize or conduct the programme of research, management and infrastructure development in the field of health & family welfare. xi. Public Health – To undertake, organize, establish or run the medical education centre, college and research centre. xii. Public Health – To undertake awareness, prevention, surveillance, screening, management health systems and research programmers on Maternal and Child survival, communicable diseases like Malaria, Hepatitis, Leprosy, Meningitis, HIV/ AIDS, STD, T.B., Dengue, non communicable diseases like Cancer, Heart Diseases, Respiratory Diseases, Diabetes, Mellitus, and Injuries etc. Health Insurance, Population Control etc. xiii. Public Health – To help establish and run Drug De addiction centre and undertake rehabilitation programme for drug-abuse. Also organize awareness programme for the control of drug-menace and abuse. xiv. Handicrafts – To promote artisans and rural cottage industry under ‘Make-in-India’ and ‘Skill India’ initiative and ensure effective collective participation of all member parties. xv. Human Resource Development – To provide capacity building through various HRD programmes. xvi. Human Rights – Confront human rights issues like human trafficking, violence, bondage etc. and work towards ensuring peace and harmony. To undertake, organize, investigate, participate, sponsor, the human right programmes including awareness and awakening of human rights, preservation of fundamental rights, protection & safeguards to the victims of human rights violations, for the freedom, dignity and peace of the people. Also, undertake study, research, publications, treaties with national and international institutions and award programmers, for the effective implementation of human rights. xvii. Cultural heritage - Preservation & Development of Indian culture, art, literature and ideology, including Buddhist, Tibetan and Tribal(s) art and culture. xviii. Cultural heritage - To promote and to strive for the revival of a nationalistic culture and Indian heritage and tradition specifically through the promotion of artists and classical musicians by instituting awards and scholarships, providing assistance in cash or in kind, organizing recitals and stage shows and generally offering all kinds of assistance to popularize Indian arts and music.xix. Urban Development - To undertake, assist manage, organise the all programmes of urban development particularly public health engineering, slum community rehabilitation and development, civic amenities and public services, town planning, master plan preparation and implementation, water and hydrometric studies, research and management, sewerage and waste management. xx. Rural Development – To promote, organize, plan, undertake, develop, maintain & co-ordinate projects, schemes for all round development and business/employment creation opportunities, to promote micro-finance projects to help rural communities, to conduct training programmes on rural activities and agriculture, to work for rural infrastructure development projects and to work in collaboration with government, semi-government, societies, bodies and trusts for funding of projects. xxi. Rural Development – To organize, conduct, sponsor, the intensive programme on Rural housing, Rural finance, Cottage & small scale industries development, co operative and cooperation, Integrated wasteland Development, Technology Development Extension and training programme, Investment Promotion Schemes for the promotion of rural infrastructure, watershed and water management and unutilised resource development programme, welfare and strengthening programme for marginal and underprivileged farmers, promotion of cost effective technologies, rural sanitation including low-cost latrines. xxii. Science and technology – To promote research, development and adaptation of technology for improving quality of life and promote workshops, films, foundations, societies and scientific activities for the same. xxiii. Science and technology – To carry out all the programmes pertaining to science, technology, communication and information technology for popularization, use and inculcation of scientific temper among the people. Also ensure the use of technologies in the field of rural development, appropriate technology, rural technologies, environment and ecology, non-conventional energy, formal education, computer. To promote research development and adaptation of science and technology for improving the quality of life of traditional artisans, landless labour and weaker section. xxiv. Science and technology – To promote Research and Development in the field of nanotechnology, conventional energy sources, environment and ecology, biodiversity, sustainable development, water conflicts, climate change for the welfare of the public at large. xxv. SC, ST and minorities – To improve the social and economic standing of SC/ST and minorities. xxvi. SC, ST and minorities – To help them in education, employment, skill training, rehabilitation, food, medical aid, during natural or man-made crisis, etc. xxvii. Women – To play a leading role in women empowerment and providing equal opportunities and provide rehabilitation to women affected with gender based discrimination. To help them legally, monetarily, educationally or in rehabilitation in situations pertaining to sexual harassment, assault, domestic violence, domestic harassment, marital struggles etc. xxviii. To work on eradicating corruption. xxix. To accept donations, grants, presents and other offerings for welfare of society. To start, abolish, discontinue and restart any charity of charitable institutions for the benefit of general public and to impose any conditions to any subscription or donation made by them. xxx. To contribute/ donate to other charities which have their objects the welfare of delinquent children, environment protection, promotion of medical and scientific research, research related to matters of national security, rural uplift, relief of the victims of natural calamities or military action or riots, welfare of war widows, ex-servicemen, the blind and physically handicapped, the destitute, the homeless, disabled and aged people and other objects of charitable nature or public utility. xxxi.
