About This Cause
At Parinaama, our core mission is to improve the lives of economically backward, vulnerable, marginalized communities. Parinaama believes that change or transformation happens through the active involvement of the community. In the last 10 years, we have touched over 500,000 lives in the remotest communities, offering choices, opportunities and possibilities for realizing their potential. We strive for lasting improvement in communities’ well-being and resilience by implementing community-led development programs that are clear in their goals and effective. Parinaama works across several verticals: health, water and sanitation, hygiene, nutrition, livelihoods, education, and micro-entrepreneurship. All our programs are designed with complete handover to the communities as the end goal. We work to facilitate and support all the different actors and institutions to ensure the right environment is created for improved outcomes. Parinaama engages with the stakeholder through intense advocacy programs with the government, private, public, and community representatives.
