Mission Statement
The goal of the Magic Bus integrated education program is to enable the first generation adolescent learners from underprivileged households to complete their formal Education with the high level of life skills. This will ensure that these young people have a high probability of completing graduation or vocational skilling and thereon moving into sustainable employment, thus moving themselves and their family out of poverty.
About This Cause
• Build strong intent for education by building awareness on the need for education • Ensure parental support and encouragement for educational aspirations. • Build community connect that supports adolescent education choices and aspirations • Enable a robust grasp on fundamentals of language and numerical concepts and skills, thus reducing learning gaps • Enable grade level progression (by reducing drop-outs between grades) and thereby improving the chances of completing formal education • Build high level of International labor organization identified employability skills (Teamwork, Problem-solving, communication skills and learning to learn) to help the adolescents to prepare themselves for employability, and transit successfully into livelihoods
