About This Cause
United Way Mumbai is a non-profit organisation that mobilises communities to action so all can thrive. We are part of 130+ year-old international network spread across 41 countries. Through our network of over 1000 United Ways, we raise over $5 billion annually and impact up to 50 million people every year. We work closely with a network of 500+ NGOs and a large number of corporates for their CSR programmes, workplace giving campaigns, and other events. This includes designing of CSR policy and strategies, due diligence of NGO partners, programme implementation, employee volunteering, impact assessments, and financial and programmatic reporting. Over the past 23 years, we have partnered with over 300 companies and 1,00,000+ individual donors, investing over INR 1150 crore for community development projects. Our expertise lies in identifying, designing & implementing high-impact projects that focus on building a healthy community, supporting children and youth with opportunities, creating a stronger financial future for all and ensuring a safe and climate resilient community. These projects are implemented both urban as well as rural communities across the country.
