Mission Statement
Wikimedia Indonesia's missions, as stated in the Articles of Association, are as follows: a. Organize public activities in the promotion of open source projects. b. Seek ways to improve understanding and introduce free and open science to the public.
About This Cause
Wikimedia Indonesia is a non-profit organization and local chapter of the Wikimedia Foundation, which manages Wikipedia and other wiki projects. We aim to support efforts to procure and disseminate open-source knowledge materials in Indonesian and other languages spoken in Indonesia. We also aim to support empowerment and stimulation efforts so that people are motivated to contribute to the collection, development, and dissemination of open-source knowledge materials in Indonesian and other languages spoken in Indonesia.
