Mission Statement
Adare Recreation & Community Complex is developing 25 acres of recreational facilities for people of all ages and all abilities. Known locally as The Manor Fields and located in the picture postcard village of Adare, this amenity is becoming recognised as a flagship development for the people of Ireland's mid West region.
About This Cause
Adare Recreation & Community Complex limited (ARCC) is a voluntary group that was established to manage and develop 25 Acres of Community owned land situated at the edge of Adare Village on what was the Dunraven Estate. ARCC management consists of a committee made up of members of the major local clubs & associations together with schools, local authority and others. A sub committee has been tasked with the design, delivery and roll out of the committee’s Master Plan. The facility has been open to the public and operational since May 2009 with thousands of users and spectators each season. ARCC is debt free, and running costs are met from cash generated each season, donations, fundraising and ongoing philanthropic support. ARCC have developed a four phase plan to deliver a “flagship” recreation facility for the mid-West region which has already received numerous voices of encouragement from the heads of various national sporting bodies. This confirms our vision of Community based, multi use facility shared by all codes and all abilities as being the way forward. The completion of all four phases will give Adare and the wider Limerick communities an All abilities Trim Trails (walks), All Abilities playgrounds, Generation Active park as well as fully integrated indoor and outdoor, facilities, multiple pitches, all weather tennis , meeting rooms, sports hall, parking etc.
