About This Cause
Our work focuses on limiting the impact of deafness and hearing loss through promoting accessibility, creating supportive communities, and enabling personal choice and community participation. Our incredible Social Workers, Community Resource Officers and volunteers touch the lives of over 8000 people every year from our offices nationwide. From providing vulnerable Deaf adults with sexual health education in Irish Sign Language to supporting parents of newly diagnosed Deaf babies to re-image their childs future, we have touchpoints and supports at every point of an individuals experience of deafness and hearing loss. Our goal is simple, to help people find and choose happiness.
