About This Cause
The association "Un Tutor per Amico APS" was founded in 2018 pursuing aims of social promotion and carrying out educational, rehabilitative, social-health assistance, training and dissemination interventions on problems concerning Specific Learning Disorders (DSA), Special Educational Needs (BES) ), problems related to children, young people, the family and the school, offering diffusion and scientific, informative, operational and logistic information on the relative problems and interventions and dealing with training for school personnel. The Association has received Moral Patronage from the Cannavaro-Ferrara Foundation, already engaged in social projects aimed at contrasting the various forms of child and youth distress in the city and the province of Naples, in the following areas of intervention: education, job training, sport, aggregation, health. In 2016, the Cannavaro Ferrara Foundation finances the Social Project "Un Tutor per Amico", thus making it possible to carry out extracurricular and scholastic tutoring activities for primary and secondary school students at the Foscolo Oberdan Institute. This project is then renewed in 2018 with training activities provided to the new professional figure of Learning Tutor through the moral patronage of the Municipality of Naples and the Italian Association Dyslexia AID-Section Naples. The Association "Un Tutor per Amico APS" carries out a Tutoring Project in class at the Foscolo Oberdan Comprehensive Institute in Naples for the first time in 2018, training the teaching staff in vivo in the school context and simultaneously working for an Inclusive Education in the Class Group. In 2018, training activities were carried out for teaching staff and tutoring in class at the Comprehensive Volumnia Institute in Rome in 2018. In 2019, a Classroom and Training course for the new Tutors and for school and out-of-school tutoring for the Foscolo School was carried out again. Oberdan.
