Mission Statement
ReBit aspires to create a society where any the children, including LGBTQ youth, can become the adult they want to be. ReBit provides support and empowers LGBTQ youths through a) LGBTQ education b) LGBTQ ceremony and c) LGBTQ recruiting. LGBTQs youths are in urgent need as currently 2 in 3 LGBTQ youths think about committing suicide, however teachers lack support - only 10% teachers are fully equipped with right knowledge about LGBTQs.
About This Cause
Achievements 1.LGBTQ Education - Conduct lectures / training over 400 times to students, teachers, local education committees, etc. - Published and distributed 30,000 training materials for teachers 2.LGBTQ Ceremony - Organized 38 “Coming of Age Ceremony”, attracting over 4000 people. Sponsored by large companies. 3.LGBTQ Recruiting - Provided recruiting support to about 400 students - Opened first recruitment website for LGBTQ students in Japan. (10,000 page view/month) - Conduct training / seminars to company management & HR to help companies become LGBTQ friendly Fundings -Chosen for the supporting organization for 11th annual Financial Industry in Tokyo (FIT) For Charity Run, organized by BlackRock.
