Mission Statement
AMH Group (Amicale Marocaine des handicapés) is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the well-being and social inclusion of vulnerable communities, especially individuals with disabilities, across Morocco. Our mission is to revolutionize rehabilitation, improve healthcare and education accessibility, and promote social inclusion through social entrepreneurship and innovative projects. We strive to be a national leader in social services, empowering and positively impacting the lives of people with disabilities across various aspects of life within our community.
About This Cause
Who We Are: Established in 1992, AMH Group is a catalyst for change in Morocco, championing a socially entrepreneurial spirit. Operating at the crossroads of health, autonomy, education, and training, the NGO is dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with disabilities. We seek to revolutionize the physical and functional reeducation sector in Morocco, with a focus on enhancing healthcare accessibility. This commitment extends to promoting the autonomy of individuals with disabilities and fostering their social participation through innovative projects such as a startup incubator, education accessibility programs, training initiatives, and strategic partnerships. Healthcare Practice: Since 2000, AMH Group has been a pioneer in healthcare, marked by the establishment of the first rehabilitation center in Morocco. Over 23 years, we've cultivated expertise, offering tailored physical rehabilitation treatments. Our innovative model reinvests profits to subsidize care for the underprivileged population. Social Initiatives for Professional Inclusion: Central to our mission is empowering vulnerable communities, particularly individuals with disabilities, through social entrepreneurship projects. This includes comprehensive training, professional opportunities, and the recent establishment of a pioneering incubator for projects initiated by individuals with disabilities. Inclusive Socio-Economic Landscape: Our commitment extends beyond traditional healthcare, envisioning a more inclusive socio-economic landscape. By facilitating strategic partnerships and projects, AMH Group aims for a future where people with disabilities actively contribute to various professional spheres. IMPACT : Health Centre: - over 1,460 orthotic devices made for free (prostheses, orthoses, orthopedic insoles, etc.). - Over 1.5 million health acts performed for free. -Over 106,000 patients gained significantly increased autonomy. - Approximately 44.7 million DHS value of free healthcare services provided. Social Actions: Offered over 50,000 social support actions. - Over 35,000 technical supports distributed. - Over 30,000 members in Casablanca supported. Professional Development: - Over 300 people with disabilities trained and professionally integrated. Assisted +100 people with disabilities in revenue-generating activities. - Conducted 8 promotions of caregivers (160 people) trained and integrated into health facilities.
