About This Cause
The Neurodiversity Foundation aims to bridge the gap between Neurodivergent and Neurotypical, in order to forge a neuroinclusive society that embraces all types of minds. The organization is neurodivergent-led, with a 90% Neurodivergent team of volunteers, experts, ambassadors and boardmembers, and is founded in the Netherlands in 2018. Our 4 project pillars are: 1. Research and Innovation (We do our own research, create assistive technology prototypes and collaborate with educational and academic institutions) 2. Awareness and Pride (We founded the Neurodiversity Pride Day celebrations) 3. Education and Belonging (We founded the Neurodiversity Education Academy and the NeuroEmergence community for late-diagnosed neurodivergents) 4. Network and mainstreaming the concept of neurodiversity (We introduced the concept locally, and have a enthusiastic international focus to cooperate globally)
