Mission Statement
Our core mission is to secure women’s human rights and inclusion in leadership, political participation, climate justice, environmental protection, and land rights. We want to women's places at the center of the table in sub-Saharan Africa Our Vision: Our vision is to see women at the forefront of leadership, civic/political participation, economic inclusion, climate justice, and environmental protection. We envision a world where all women, including those with disabilities, rise above challenges to achieve their full potential, and we stand united in advocating for their rights and inclusion
About This Cause
Moment for Women Alliance is a registered women-led/focus membership group working at the grassroot to promote women and girls’ human rights and inclusion. Our thematic focus areas include education with a focus on second chance education for women and girls, women's leadership and political participation, health and reproductive justice, economic justice including women's rights to inheritance and ownership of landed properties, Climate justice with a focus on sustainable agricultural practices and environmental cleanliness and protection as well as movement building to promote activism and strengthen the capacity of women groups and organizations in sub-saharan Africa.
