Mission Statement
Our mission is to care for retired working dogs in the Philippines. Our goal is to rehabilitate retired K-9s and get them ready for life as a family pet. Ultimately, we want to help replicate Robby's Law (United States of America H.R. 5314) in the Philippines, which promotes the transfer and adoption of working dogs at the end of their service.
About This Cause
We are a non-profit organization that aims to improve the lives of retired working dogs. We do this by taking in retired working dogs from either the military (MWDs) or civilian security agencies (CWDs). Once they are at our Center, we evaluate their health and behavior to determine what needs to be done to prepare them for home life as family pets. We have partner veterinarians, behavior specialists and in-house handlers who take care of the dogs. When they are deemed fit for home life, we screen adoption applicants through a multi-step process. Successful applicants are oriented on the proper care of their new pets, and they are monitored even after adoption to make sure the dog is treated properly.
