Mission Statement
Most of the beneficiaries of the foundation are women in the crisis of homelessness, single mothers, residents of homes of victims of violence. The main objective of the Foundation is to provide comprehensive assistance to women and the family through charitable, educational, cultural, charity, health care and health promotion activities, as well as social welfare. The foundation focuses on supporting the development of women, their activation in various areas of life (social, public, professional, cultural, personal); counteracting the social and professional isolation of women, violence and discrimination against marginalized groups; helping women to recovering from difficult life situations, supporting the family. Important to us is charity work, the promotion and organization of volunteerism and activities for social dialogue. The main activities undertaken by the Foundation are within the scope of social assistance and counteracting social exclusion, as well as conducting information and educational campaigns, psychoeducation and dissemination of women's issues, conducting and organizing meetings. In this year's edition of the campaign we attach also special attention to activities that support the development of local communities and communities.
About This Cause
Since 2017, as individuals on the occasion of Women's Day, we have been preparing small gifts for women whom no one appreciates and endows - ladies in crisis of homelessness, residents of homes of victims of violence and single mothers. It was successively 30 ladies gifted in 2017, more than 200 in 2018 and 2019, 544 ladies from 4 cities in 2020 and 1173 in 2021. In 2022 we were able to reach 1178 women and 160 children living in aid centers and benefiting from the assistance of the eateries, bringing the total to 1,338 gifted people. The success is an increase in the scale of the campaign, an increase in the number of committed volunteers and wider dissemination of information on the homelessness crisis affecting women. It is also deepening relationships with the centers and their residents and reaching out to new facilities, strengthening ties with volunteers. The result of the project is, on the one hand, to respond to the basic material needs of the endowed women. Above all, however, the important symbolic values - in response to the action, the centers we visited report that the women felt appreciated, showed joy that someone remembers them, that they are not alone and rejected. The handing out of packages was often accompanied by meetings. First of all above all, support was felt by residents of the centers who came from Ukraine as a result of the war. The gifts donated responded to the needs of specific ladies, the composition of the packages was consulted with the centers. The packages included, for example: hygiene items, cosmetics, underwear, clothes, flowers, toys for children (included in parcels for women from, for example, single mother's homes), food products such as coffee, tea or candy, towels, slippers.
