Our vision is a visually literate public, comfortable in engaging with various aspects of visual art, and with a basic appreciation of art history, especially with art that is relevant to Singapore’s heritage.
About This Cause
Art Outreach is an education non-profit organisation that aims to promote art appreciation in Singapore through offering an art education programme for primary and secondary school students, art workshops for community groups, art tours and exhibitions for the public, as well as developing a body of well-trained and committed volunteers to serve as art advocates, providing a vital resource in the community. Among our programmes, we organise an annual exhibition of works from private collections as a platform for collectors to share their advocacy for art and artists with the public. We also support the professional development of emerging artists and curators through an art prize, and we provide a community art space for independent practitioners to organise exhibitions and art presentations.
