Mission Statement
The TENG Company (TENG) aims to be a leading and inspirational contributor to a Singaporean sound that is current, innovative, visionary and urban – guided by Asian aesthetics. We foster exceptional Singaporean musicians and provide them with an eco-system to experiment and create original music. As an arts company, we are focused on the development of a Singaporean musical identity, while promoting Singapore as a regional centre for the development and presentation of the performing arts. Through performances, education and research, we offer both an entry point and a deeper understanding of Singaporean music to all.
About This Cause
The TENG Company is an arts company, based in Singapore and founded in 2005. It became a full-time non-profit arts company in 2015. The Teng Company Ltd. is an Institution of a Public Character (IPC - Current period: 1 January 2023 to 31 December 2025) and an Associate Member of the National Council of Social Service. The company focuses on developing a distinct, Singaporean music identity through its musical endeavours.
