About This Cause
Engineering Good Ltd (EG) is a Singapore-registered charity that unites a community of staff, volunteers, donors, sponsors, supporters with diverse skills, including technology and engineering, to serve the disadvantaged communities. We support disadvantaged communities by enabling access to digital education and economic opportunities and helping them overcome daily challenges through innovative technological and engineering solutions. Our Tech For Good initiatives include the Digital Inclusion & Sustainability program, which refurbishes decommissioned corporate laptops to support disadvantaged communities while reducing IT e-waste. We also have the Tech For Good Accelerator and Makers programs, which creates assistive technology solutions that help persons with disabilities participate in learning, perform daily activities, and empower them to live more fulfilling and independent lives. Working in partnership with community-based organizations, we provide opportunities for passionate individuals to contribute their expertise to address community needs through skilled volunteerism.
