Mission Statement
We need your help¡¡¡ More and more young people trust our help, Please be part of Tadeo. Who are we? Tadeo Courpus Iesus, with CIF (Tax Identification Card) G.67002816, is a non-profit entity project founded on October 28, 2016. 7 years supporting those who will be our present future. The purposes that we develop through our entity are Social Support, Culture and Sports in social and intercultural action with young people in vulnerable situations or at risk of social exclusion. We collaborate with the San Andreu District of the Barcelona City Council, and with the Secretariat for Prison, Reintegration and Victim Services of the Department of Justice of the Generalitat of Catalonia. Our initiatives aim at a young people with and without family, social or reintegration problems. As well as those who are at the risk of social exclusion due to the situation of vulnerability which they find themselves due to unemployment, lack of training and resources, among others. We also help young people deprived of their liberty in prisons with the desire to improve and reintegrate themselves to have a better quality of life when they obtain their freedom. Professional collaborations In Social Support tasks we have the collaboration of the Terma law firm. They provide legal advice, mediating and carrying out the procedures related to lawsuits according to the individual situation of each person. They also help us by facilitating the referral service in situations that require medical professionals or other non-judicial assistance. We help in the regulatory regime and assistance in accompaniment in the municipal / regional and administrative state level. We have professionals volunteering that we help through scholarships, to accompany procedures or development of cultural activities, sports or workshops in the middle of the TAT Vell space, calistènia in Trinidad Vieja. need help
About This Cause
We need your help to carry out our mission. Identify yourself as a collaborator of Tadeo and help our young people. Projects carried out 1. TAT Vell: outdoor sports facilities for calisthenics It is a commendable point promoted by our entity for the development of youth content, created and designed by them. It is a social project and a point of proximity, very important because of how effective it is in identifying and preventing risk situations in young people with or without family roots as well as other factors. In mid-2019, the project presented by our entity in 2017 was inaugurated: The TAT Vell, a sports infrastructure-resource, built in an urban area. It is an outdoor sports circuit for sports and calisthenics. It is also a social and meeting point for young people of any ethnic group and social situation or any other factor of vulnerability. The project was supported by the Plan de Barrios Fomento Ciudad de Trinitat Vella and the District of San Andres as well as the Barcelona City Council. Furthermore, this was possible, thanks to the help of young people of different ethnicities and cultures treated in our association. The activity Healthy sports activities take place in these facilities where the exercise is carried out with the body's own weight aided by the bars of the built structure. Thanks to this activity, we reinforce the values of perseverance and overcoming challenges. In this way we manage to unravel family situations, risk, anxieties, violence and toxic habits. We have created a circuit of outdoor synergies focused on young people with, or without documentation, in situations of risk and social exclusion, as well as young people with unstructured families of any ethnic group or culture. Free fruit delivery In addition to promoting physical activity, at the end of the sports sessions we organize, we also distribute fruit to promote healthy eating that is linked to good healthy lifestyle habits that our association wants to promote. Popular acts : We also carry out within the framework of Culture, "Community Social Works" with the aim of integrating young people in an intercultural participatory way in popular acts that take place in Trinidad Vieja or other locations for social cohesion and citizenship. In 2021 we want to take advantage of the open environment TAT Vell –Tadeo Soporte Social Cultura Preventiva to help with the impact that the pandemic is having on young people. Thanks to this outdoor meeting point, young people who are less favored and at risk of social exclusion will have a healthy activity that helps them to overcome and redirect their personal problematic situations. 2. Tadeo.cat This website has the objective of bringing young people in vulnerable situations closer to the open environment created by TAT Vell, and the Youth Penitentiary Centers in Granollers. Due to the situation generated by covid19, this year 2021 we have started a new project to increase safety and hygiene in the TAT Vell sports area. 3. PREVENTIVE CULTURE of Vosostros & Tadeo: distribution of FFP2 masks The project consists of designing, manufacturing and supplying 500 homologated and personalized FFP2 masks with the TAT Vell logo as well as the logo of the project sponsor. In this way, we want to offer the least favored, high protection masks to reduce the possibility of contagion and therefore improve their health and hygiene. The masks will also be distributed at the Granollers Penitentiary Center to young people who are part of the "proximity" social reintegration program. These tend to be helpless as they do not have family roots or knowledge to obtain basic care or guides in the new opportunity for freedom they face. Logo creation We would like to highlight that the logo on the masks has been designed by the young people who are part of the program. 4. * Vosotros & Tadeo * Free * Style: sports activities promoting the social reintegration of people deprived of liberty The activity * Vosotros & Tadeo * Free * Style takes place weekly thanks to the guidance of the professionals that volunteer, who come to the center and promote healthy physical activity in the open spaces of the prison. The objective is to help those young people who are close to the end of their sentence so that they have support in their social reintegration. Donations We are very grateful to the professionals who help voluntarily in the "Proximity" program. They collaborate in the socialization plan and methodology that we propose to young people. Given the importance of direct contact with young people at risk of social exclusion in the program, it is vital that these volunteers travel both to the prison in Granollers. For this reason, we are in need of economic funds to subsidize transport costs. In addition, due to the health situation, we need funds to buy preventive material such as gloves, disposable masks, Epis, etc. From the association, we constantly work to optimize the available resources. However, we need your help to continue with all the projects. Annual financial needs/costs The whole cost of the "Vosotros & Tadeo" project is € 6,400 / year. Next, we break down the financial needs that each project needs. Resources and financial needs: - We contribute with our goodwill and time to altruistically help the most disadvantaged. - 500 custom masks ultra resistance FFP2 -- Budget: € 2000 - Free fruit distribution after sports sessions - TAT Vell Calisthenics: maintenance and self-defense classes for the youth of the neighborhood -- Budget: € 2000 / year - Transport grant for activity in the Granollers Penitentiary Center and individual preventive material (3 professional collaborators) -- Budget: € 2,400 / year Tadeo Courpus Iesus non-profit organization appreciates all donations received.
