Mission Statement
Fundación Menudos Corazones is a non-profit-making organisation whose mission is to carry out programmes and activities necessary to improve the quality of life of children and young people with congenital heart defects and their families.
About This Cause
Menudos Corazones accompanies and supports families in those complicated situations that arise when a child is born with a heart defect. Menudos Corazones provide support through the following programs: Free Accommodation: For familys who must travel to Madrid for a child's treatment or surgery. Psychological attention: At hospitals in Madrid, by phone, by email or face to face at the office in Madrid. Music Therapy: in the Intensive Care Unit of two hospitals in Madrid and online workshops for children and parents Support Group for Grieving Parents: Monthly online meetings Educational activities: In three public hospitals in Madrid for children hospitalized. Summer Camps for Children and Teenagers: Integration camps for children with heart defects with the company of siblings or friends. Outdoors activities for Young People with Congenital Heart Defects Publications and Information Web Site Orientation on Social Resources and Early Attention on children education
