Mission Statement
Epsom Canine Rescue was founded in 1992 and registered as a charity in 1995. It’s principle role is the rescue and rehoming of unwanted, neglected and stray canines, undertaking veterinary treatment where necessary. All of our dogs are neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, advocated and fully assessed by a qualified behaviourist prior to rehoming. We operate in the Surrey/Sussex/Kent area and undertake all of our own homechecks and follow up visits as we know our dogs best and what is the most suitable home for them. We offer our new home the comfort of knowing that they have full lifetime rescue back up and behavioural guidance and support is always on hand, should it be required. All activities are carried out on a purely voluntary basis and all funds are self generated. Our operating costs average around £2k - £3k per month, we do not receive any form of funding from the local authority or government, and all of our funds are raised locally by way of fundraisers and donations from members of the public.
