Mission Statement

Being part of the Scout Association and Shire Oak (Leeds) District Scouts, the 9th Airedale Scout Group which was formed in 1927 aims to promote and develop young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.

Providing an enjoyable and attractive scheme of progressive training, based on the Scout Promise and Law, and guided by voluntary adult leadership.
