About This Cause
Our work will continue until no child dies from malaria because, no matter where that child lives, they have access to affordable, quality, lifesaving healthcare. For over 20 years, we have taken an evidence-led approach, using research and collaboration with local partners to implement adaptable, cost-effective solutions that better integrate health services and strengthen health systems. Malaria Consortium promotes community-led solutions, training local people to diagnose and treat common diseases and extending health services to remote communities so that fewer people fall ill or die as a result of preventable diseases. Preventing and treating diseases that are the biggest killers of children under five - like malaria - can have one of the biggest impacts on the wellbeing and prosperity of families.
