Our films are watched in over a hundred countries worldwide, reaching millions, and empowering them with knowledge that saves lives.

Our films are watched in over a hundred countries worldwide, reaching millions, and empowering them with knowledge that saves lives. Every woman and child deserves the right to a safe and healthy pregnancy and childbirth. Medical Aid Films aims to save the lives of women and children in the developing world by providing innovative education and training through film. We bring together leading medical expertise, frontline health worker experience and innovative film production, to share life-saving knowledge about maternal and child health. Together we produce quality, resource-appropriate, films to support skilled health worker training and community health education – used by over 1,300 organisations in over 100 countries worldwide, and reaching more than 1 million people each year. Film provides a simple, sustainable, scalable way to build knowledge and inspire change. It provides clear and engaging information, helps to change attitudes and behaviours, and can break through the barriers of low literacy to reach those who need it most. Copied, shared and watched again and again, our films provide a cost-effective way to reach millions with knowledge that quite literally saves lives. We have almost 200 films in 14 languages, from reproductive health and safe birth to prevention and management of obstetric emergencies.
