Mission Statement
This is dining that makes a difference. Fat Macy’s is a social enterprise making life-changing food. Enjoy inventive menus created using seasonal ingredients, all served with our typical feel-good atmosphere. Our team are young Londoners, supported on their journey from hostels to their own homes. Trained by our talented chefs and mentors, they add their own stories to create a unique dining experience.
About This Cause
Fat Macy’s provides people living in temporary accommodation the opportunity to learn the ropes as chefs, front of house and hospitality staff. We then provide access to housing deposit grants, to create a recipe that helps people make the journey from hostel to home. We offer 1 to 1 support alongside our work experience program that focuses on career development, accessing housing options and wellbeing. We take a holistic approach to supporting our beneficiaries, by offering them the opportunity to save for a deposit, alongside our support curriculum to ensure our beneficiaries are fully equipped to sustain both a tenancy and a job.
