Mission Statement
Refugees at Home is a UK charity which connects those with a spare room with refugees and people seeking asylum in need of somewhere to stay. To date, it has helped place over 6,000 guests who have spent more than 615,000 nights with our hosts.
About This Cause
Since 2016, Refugees at Home has connected hosts with a spare room with people seeking asylum and refugees in need of a safe place to stay. Our guests often arrive in the UK in search of safety after fleeing persecution in their own countries but may find themselves without the help they need. We work to recruit and support our growing network of hosts who are willing to open their homes. By carefully matching our guests and hosts, and providing ongoing support, we hope to help refugees and people seeking asylum rebuild their lives.
