Mission Statement
We support displaced people in Northern France and homeless people in London and Edinburgh. We give people more than a hot meal, we give them a place to gather and connect. Somewhere to recreate a community - providing spaces for medical and legal services, safeguarding groups and other support organisation and people in need to meet. We’ve been serving food in Calais and Northern France since 2015. Since the Calais Jungle was demolished we have been forced to constantly adapt our distribution points and styles. We currently serve food wherever we can find a safe place for people to congregate in the Calais and Dunkirk regions.
About This Cause
The relief for people in need in Calais, Dunkirk, Brussels and London, Edinburgh and the surrounding areas and specifically for them to access food and other services and items which thereby alleviate hunger caused by the lack of opportunities or resources to obtain sufficient food.
