Mission Statement
Mimosa House is an independent, non-profit art institution in the heart of London curated by Daria Khan. Dedicated to artistic experimentation and collaboration, we support dialogue between intergenerational women and queer artists. Embracing inclusivity and sensitivity, Mimosa House is a safe and empowering space which focuses on the fluidity of identity and recognises the need for change.
About This Cause
The objects of Mimosa House CIO are: (a) For the public benefit to promote the visual arts of painting, drawing, sculpture, performance, film and sound art, in particular by artists who are female and queer who engage with the topics and issues of identity, social exclusion, diversity and gender inequality through the operation of an art gallery in London. (b) To advance the education of the public in all aspects of the aforementioned visual arts through the operation of a programme of art exhibitions, workshops, resources and presentations for the general public.
