Turn2us is a national charity helping people when times get tough. We provide financial and practical support to help people get back on track.
About This Cause
Turn2us: Fighting UK poverty Any of our lives can be turned upside down because of an illness, job loss or relationship breakdown. But too often we see these life events trap people in poverty. We want to stop people being swept into poverty and give practical help to anyone already struggling to cope. We help people find financial support such as welfare benefits, charitable grants and other support so that they can get their lives back on track. All our work is informed by the following vision, objectives and values. Our vision No one in the UK should live in poverty. Our purpose So people can build financial sustainability and thrive, Turn2us gives people the information and support they need in the face of life-changing events, and collaborates to tackle the causes and symptoms of poverty. Our objectives To give timely direct financial help to people in urgent need and to prevent a fall into deeper poverty. To enable people to access existing help and create new initiatives where gaps exist. To inspire people and partnerships - by sharing the voices of people we help and our insight into poverty.
