Our mission is to deliver world-class music to the widest possible audience. We achieve this through: seven long-established UK residencies; regional and international touring; community engagement work; talent development; and, groundbreaking digital engagement. We believe that access to the arts is a right, not a privilege; diversity is a strand that runs through all of our work and is supported across our organisation.
About This Cause
The Philharmonia is one of the world’s leading orchestras. Founded in response to new recording technology 75 years ago, we continue to innovate through our award-winning digital work. We are fundamental to the cultural offer in London, across our residencies, and internationally. Throughout our history we have worked with the world’s top artists and have performed in all of the most renowned concert halls, performing up to 50 concerts annually, across four continents.
