Mission Statement
We believe that through adventure we challenge individuals so that they learn and experience new things that enrich their lives. The aim of scouting is to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities. The method of achieving the aim of scouting is by providing an enjoyable and attractive scheme of progressive training, based on the Scout Promise and Law, and guided by adult leadership.
About This Cause
Scouting actively engages and supports young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society. Scouting helps young people with education, training, amateur sports, community, development and employment in the future. We provide an environment where young people can experience life skills and outdoor skills that they can use for their development in later life. Giving them experience of activities and adventures skills that at times can be difficult for families to provide.
