World Anti drugs and Development Organization (WADO) is a non-governmental organization (NGO) that is not affiliated with religion or politics which is now making great efforts to liberate the global society from drug addiction and promote development in the local communities. WADO programs and activities reflect the comprehensive and multifaceted approach that organization takes to address the challenges of drug addiction and to empower communities for a brighter and more sustainable future. INTRODUCTION TO SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES: To achieve its main objective, WADO has developed a series of specific objectives across four key program areas: Anti-drug Program, Social and Economic Development Program, Infrastructure Program, and Innovation and Technology Program. These specific objectives are designed to: 1. Conduct research to identify the Drug addicted individuals in the community. 2. Raise awareness to Drug Victims and the community on negative effect of drugs. 3. Promote mental and behavioral Health services in the community. 4. Establishment of health infrastructures and Rehabilitation Centers to prevent and treat the drug addicted individuals and associated diseases effects. 5. Promote entrepreneurship and innovation skills, technology and research in the community for sustainable development. 6. Promote community developments through provision of vocational trainings to the community toward decent jobs and green economies. 7. To establish community based projects that create employments for youth with inclusive of gender equality in productive sectors such as agriculture, craftsmanship and small manufacturing industries. 8. To foster talent development in sports, arts and cultural as alternatives to promote social development and as the means to reduce drug and substance use among youths
