Mission Statement
St. Mary's Regional Medical Center (SMRMC) was established in 1888 as Maine's first Catholic hospital. It's mission is "to love and to serve" in the spirit of St. Marguerite d'Youville, our foundress.
About This Cause
SMRMC is a general services hospital, including surgical, oncology & infusion therapy, emergency care, and behavioral health treatment. We have a strong community focus, including multiple sites that offer FQHC look-alike medical practices, and a Nutrition Center which offers community residents opportunities to grow their own garden fruits and vegetables, nutrition education and an emergency food pantry.
