About This Cause
The Children’s Museum & Theatre of Maine (CMTM) inspires joyful learning through creativity, exploration, and play with a particular focus on the educational areas of STEM, cultural education, community engagement, visual and performing arts, and early childhood education. CMTM is a resource for families of all economic means, as well as caregivers and educators. With hundreds of educational programs, a century of children’s theatre history, and 47 years as a children’s museum, our award-winning organization is considered one of the top children’s museums in the country.
